A wife and a pig

Today's find is a hilarious character from Kimberly Hoffard, that reminds me of Terry Gilliam's style (and everyone knows that's a good thing!). I can't help but wonder: Who is Claude? Why did he marry this funny, bespectacled, mustachioed lady?

Kimberly's paintings are humorous, imaginative and playful. Another one of my favorites is her Vampire Pig, the cutest pink abomination you could wish for!

Strange dolls, indeed!

Here is Dr. Scops, a rather creepy fellow drenched in surreality. I wouldn't try to describe him. There are things that evade description, things so strange and unusual that one has to simply experience.
I can tell you this:
This creature is a doll made by Beth Robinson, a true master of doll making, whose imagination spawns weird characters and whose talent transforms them to great paintings, dolls and photographs. Her creations range from eerily tender to outright scary. Have a look in Beth's Strange Dolls zazzle shop and I bet you'll get hooked and will want to visit her fantastic website too. Who knows, you may end up commissioning something -maybe Dr. Scops's mistress...

Smoking Lorenzo

Lorenzo is a funny, colorful 3D -or, rather, isometric- character that adorns this beautiful creme t-shirt made by Sauerkids (Mark Moget & Taco Sipma, an artistic duo from the Netherlands). This green, four-legged fellow is a smoker, a fact that gives him a hilariously adult attitude that contrasts with his playful design. One of the best t-shirts I've seen, actually!

Shoes aplenty

One color is enough to bring a smile on your face! This great t-shirt found in Kev Munday's store is the proof that talent and a fresh look can make art out of anything. And I do mean anything:

Don't get me wrong, here. Kev is a great artist that doesn't stop on black and white. He has the enviable ability to create funny characters from whatever strikes his fancy. Bowling pins, slices of pizza or just plain brush strokes.
He finds inspiration in the strangest places and the designs he delivers are alive with the fervor of street art and graffiti. Urban spirit has seldom been as vibrant as it is in his art.
