I discovered it in Rupy de Tequila store, the place were Ruth Fitta-Schulz showcases her amazing digital art. Rita has a rare sense of color and an imagination that brings forth playful childhood images.

And Cathie Richardson's work is like an open window: it lets the fresh air in!

This is a strangely fascinating postcard, featuring ink work from Noumeda. The birds and the running woman give a dreamy, haunting quality to the landscape. Noumeda Carbone's work is mostly monochromatic with small touches of color that explode in surreal ways. Do have a look at her illustrations (shown in her great website as well as her store). She is one of the best, with a strong feminine aura that is both enchanting and unexpected.
As for me, I'll keep staring at those eyes, trying to hear the story they tell:

Spring is here, lurking silently below the snow, infiltrating the cold winds, promising resurrection and already dreaming of summer. Enter this fine photograph of a poppy: a warm, red explosion in a serene field. It makes a great polaroid-like postcard, and you can find it in FA Photography. FA stands for both Felicitas Art and Friederike Alexander, a lady from Germany, who has a great eye for capturing beauty, especially in nature close-ups.

This surreal mug reminds me of Terry Gilliam's animations -and if this is not a great praise, I don't know what is! Smiling hills and two tiny trees make for a really unusual receptacle for your hot beverages.
I discovered this one in the Durella store, alongside more black and white designs.They are all intricate, interesting and crazy, coming from a very promising artist. If only there were more of them...

Once again we're dealing with the blues, here in Surreality Watch. This time the weirdness factor gets really high. I knew that orangutans are an endangered species of great apes -and if this isn't reason enough to have the blues, I don't know what is! But I wouldn't imagine them on a painting such as this one, found at Flying Girl's gallery. This is an intriguing mixture of surrealism and folk-art, of a kind you don't see every day. And this shade of blue is absolutely fantastic! The artist is Melissa A.Robinson and she's got an interesting website, too

Nothing extravagant, odd or weird, today. Just a tender, calm and happy design on a coffee mug. Yes, even the Surreality Watchman needs some serenity, especially during his morning coffee. This bluebird is eye-soothing (not to mention eye-catching!) and I found it in Pencil + Wonderland, a gallery full of funny cartoon animals. Simple lines and fairytales sometimes combine to form a powerful mixture. This could prove to be your lucky mug.
